What makes it taste so good?Goldenberries are a recent obsession in the graze kitchen. Otherwise known as physalis or Chinese gooseberries, these little capsules of tangy juice add a delicious burst of flavor to any mixture. Pineapple and coconut is such a popular flavor combination, we couldn’t wait to try it in a new snack. Paired with our innovative raw bites with spirulina and our zesty dried goldenberries, this snack is a real tropical explosion!
What are the benefits?Our new mini raw bites are a blend of dates, raisins, almonds, apple fiber, desiccated coconut, pineapple juice, and spirulina powder. They’ve been paired with dried goldenberries, naturally sweetened with pineapple juice, for a super fruity and nourishing sweet snack. Our taste experts added raw coconut flakes and crunchy almonds to make this healthy snack a source of vitamin E, which protects cells from oxidative stress, as well as energy-releasing manganese and dietary fiber.
What is spirulina?This green seaweed is plant goodness at its finest. It contains vitamin B1, B2, iron, copper and manganese. Not many people understand the health benefits of copper: our nervous system needs it to perform, our skin and hair need it, our immune system needs it, and so does our blood in order to transport oxygen around our body. Manganese is another essential mineral, and without it we wouldn’t have the bone health, energy, or the cellular protection that this mineral gives us to protect it from day-to-day stress. Just one tablespoon (7g) gives us 20% of our recommended daily amount of copper, and over 10% of the daily amount for vitamins B1, B2 and iron.
