This toffee apple mug cake dessert recipe made by grazer and blogger Ashleigh is so easy to make! It is absolutely delicious, and even contains 15g of protein! Keep reading for the recipe.

Try mixing in the apple pieces into the mug cake before you cook it. You could also make it more decadent by adding some white chocolate chips!

  • 114 tbsp chia seeds
  • 13 cup oat flour
  • 12 tsp baking powder
  • 12 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 handful raisins
  • 3 tbsp greek yogurt
  • 14 cup pureed soft dried apple
  • 12 tbsp peanut butter
  • 114 tbsp unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 punnet graze's caramel apple


Mix all your dry ingredients together in a big mug.

Add the greek yogurt and apple puree. Stir through until thoroughly mixed.

Stir in the nut butter.

Carefully pour and mix the milk into the batter. (Tip: It has a tendency to splash a bit, so mix it slowly!)

Microwave the batter for 1 minute and 45 seconds (Ashleigh's microwave is set to 850W).

Add the apple pieces from the caramel apple punnet to the top of the mug cake.

Pour the caramel sauce from the punnet over the mug cake. You can also sprinkle some more chia seeds, or add any other toppings you'd like!
