Cacao is one of the easiest superfoods to add to your daily routine. It has the chocolatey taste of cocoa powder that we love, but with a richer caramel flavor and even more nutritional benefits. The simplest way to use cacao powder is by replacing cocoa powder in recipes, cakes and smoothies. Our in-house nutritionist, Jess, demonstrates how one easy swap can help create a simple chocolate milkshake recipe - full of nutritional benefits!

  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1 avocado
  • 3 tbsp cacao powder
  • 212 cup milk
  • 5 ice cubes
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • Sprinkle of cacao nibs


Put all the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth!

Pour into two cold glasses and sprinkle graze cacao nibs on top.
