This brand new, innovative ingredient was discovered by our taste experts, who couldn't wait to try it in a graze snack!
Gouda is a Dutch yellow cheese made from cow's milk. One of the most popular cheeses in the world, it's named after the city of Gouda in the Netherlands.
Young Gouda cheese is typically used on sandwiches, either cold or melted.
As it ages, it develops a caramel sweetness and has a slight crunchiness from cheese crystals, especially in older cheeses.
It's quite simple really, we take fresh gouda and cut it into little pieces.
We then vacuum dry these pieces at a high temperature where they puff into little balls. Once cooled they are ready to eat!
Making gouda puffs in this way means they're a very easy, unique and tasty way to snack on 100% fresh gouda, with a lighter twist.
They're a great source of calcium and protein, and don't contain any other added ingredients, unlike other cheesey snacks out there.
We've combined delicious gouda puffs with seriously cheesey almonds, ranch kern pops and garlic sesame sticks for an intensely savory crunchy snack.
