  1. low calorie - Popcorn is low on the calorie front - it’s nice to know you can fill up a bowl, pop in a movie and not have to work off the snack later on!
  2. whole grain - Popcorn is naturally a whole grain which means it can provide all of the healthy benefits derived from the entire grain. Because popcorn is whole grain there is plenty of fibre and vitamin E, which protects cells from oxidative stress!
  3. source of fibre Corn kernels are a good source of fibre. Did you know there’s nearly 4 grams of dietary fibre in each bag of graze popcorn?? Winning!

If you are looking for a snack that is low in calories yet still filling, I highly recommend popcorn. Popcorn is a favourite snack for nutritionists because it is high in fibre which helps you feel full longer. And at only a few calories per cup you can snack without guilt!
