December 16 2016 by Sophie

tea

Lattes can have a ton of calories! Many people don’t realize how many calories are in their daily drinks. Enjoy all of the flavor of a chai latte but with less calories by brewing your own chai tea and adding a splash of milk.

beets dip

veggie chips instead of potato chips

Swap out the greasy potato chips for a lighter alternative like veggie chips. Our new beet chips are dried not fried making them a great lower-calorie snack! They are also more abundant in vitamins and minerals than potato chips. Not a fan of veggie chips? Popcorn is also a great low calorie snack to satisfy salty cravings.

boring cauliflower

Have you ever had mashed cauliflower? It's a great substitute for potatoes – similar in flavor, texture and color making it the perfect healthy swap!

Make mashed cauliflower instead of mashed potatoes by grating the cauliflower, boiling it and draining it well before mashing.

courgetti

zucchini instead of pasta

Trying to cut back on the carbohydrates this year? Try swapping spiralized courgette instead of pasta in your favourite recipes. It will lower the carbs AND increase the amount of healthy greens in your meal, so it’s a win win!

cocoa protein balls

protein balls instead of chocolate bars

Trying to eat healthier but still need a sweet fix? Try our new protein balls instead of buying store bought chocolate. Protein balls are more nutrient dense and contain healthy fats from the nuts which help to keep you more satiated, so you’ll be satisfied with less.
