What makes it taste so good? Our taste experts wanted to take a classic nut mix and kick it up a gear. They started by roasting cashews and almonds in ground black pepper for an intense warmth. Then they added redskin peanuts and roasted unsalted cashews to balance the flavours, creating a moreish savoury mix perfect with an evening drink.
What are the benefits?Nutritionally, peanuts have a lot to offer, so they’re great to include as part of a balanced diet. They contain manganese and phosphorus, both needed for healthy bones and energy levels, and magnesium for brain health and electrolyte balance. They are also rich in dietary fibre, natural protein and amino acids.
Cashews also bring a lot to the table in terms of essential minerals and nutrients. They’re a source of magnesium, manganese and copper, which help with energy production and the maintenance of healthy bones. Cashews also contain zinc which helps support the immune system and keep hair, skin and nails looking their best.
Our nutritionist Jess recommends enjoying a portion of nuts everyday, as they contain amino acids which are the building blocks for our muscle to repair, strengthen and grow.
Protein is a vital part of a balanced diet for everyone, not just for the body builders! The good news is we’re making it super easy for you to up your daily dose of protein without settling for tasteless shakes and bars. Our protein snacks come from natural protein sources, which are then carefully seasoned with quality ingredients by our taste experts, so you can look forward to every pick-me-up.
When should you eat them? This mix is a great pre-post workout snack. Keep a pack on hand ready for a mid-afternoon energy boost, or if you want a healthy snack with a drink after work.
