sweet & sour almonds

One of our favourite late night snacks - if you easily succumb to the temptation of nibbling, you’d may as well pick at something full of protein, healthy fats and vitamin E.

  • 4 tbsp cinnamon
  • 200 ml water
  • handful graze Californian almonds
  • 1 zested & juiced lemon
  • 1 tbsp honey


Pre-heat oven to 180C.

Boil 4 tbsp cinnamon in 200ml water and reduce down, then throw in a large handful of almonds and the juice from 1 lemon.

Toss in 1 tbsp honey with the zest from the lemon.

Tip out onto a lined baking tray and put into the oven for 15-20 mins, they should have a lovely golden brown colour.
