Kickstart your day with this basic breakfast recipe from guest blogger Victoria - it's porridge with a protein punch!

This is my staple breakfast! I have a bowl after my morning workouts to pack in healthy carbs and protein for muscle recovery, and I can put loads of fruit, nuts and seeds as toppings.

ingredients

  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 150 ml milk of choice
  • 100 g oats
  • toppings of choice

instructions

Place all ingredients into a saucepan.

Bring to the boil, stirring constantly until it reaches the desired thickness.

Serve with your favourite toppings - go for seeds, nuts and fresh fruit for maximum nutritional benefits!
