Banoffee pie topped my steel cut oats with peanut butter and a couple of almond thins to jump start my morning after Monday kicked my ass!
Brush your crock pot with some coconut oil then add the steel cut oats, organic milk, unsweetened almond milk, and water (but any 6 cups of liquid will work).
Add a healthy splash of vanilla extract, a healthy sprinkle of cinnamon, and about 2 tablespoons of really good maple syrup.
Set it on low the night before and leave for 8 hours and the result was a healthy and hearty breakfast ready to be enjoyed with your fave toppings. I used graze banoffee pie, vanilla almond butter, goji berries and 2 butter almond thins.
