It's not just about the peanut butter and almond milk anymore! There's a whole new world of flavour combinations to explore, and we're loving it.
Ever since peanut butters were stripped of added palm oil, sugars and salts to offer a healthier choice, the number of nut butter products on offer has grown and grown.
At first there was almond butter, cashew butter, then the divine duo; cashew and coconut. Now more expensive nuts are being blitzed into butters including brazil and macadamia nuts.
Weird and wonderful flavours are being invented too, such as spiced pecan butter, maple cinnamon almond butter or maca hazelnut butter. People are even making their own nut butters at home.spiced pecan butter recipe
Their popularity is obviously down to their delicious taste and texture (do you prefer smooth or crunchy?) and that they are applicable to so many things; smoothies, porridge, toast, ice cream... time to get inventive!
They're also big on the health scene due to their natural protein and healthy fats, which scientific studies show provide health benefits for our individual body types and lifestyles.
It’s not just nut butters that we’ve fallen for. Nut milks (or nut mylks) seem to have taken over the classic dairy alternative, soy milk.
As the ‘free from’ and vegan lifestyle grows in popularity more choice is demanded and we are now offered a plethora of options; almond, cashew, macadamia, hazelnut, coconut and even tiger nut! Oat, quinoa, rice and pea mylks are also non-nut dairy milk alternatives available.

Here at graze, we love nuts, they are in most of our products because of their vitamin and mineral content, protein and healthy fat content.
