These super berries are a recent obsession in the graze kitchen. Otherwise known as physalis or Chinese gooseberries, these little capsules of tangy juice add a delicious burst of flavour to any mixture.
One serving of fresh golden berries is high in dietary fibre, potassium and iron, a mineral that helps reduce tiredness and fatigue. And of course, it goes towards your 5 a day!
These berries are extremely versatile, great as a replacement for standard raisins anyday. Try using them in mueslis, porridge and granola, or even mix them with salads for a chewy and zesty burst of flavour!
Light up your breakfast bowl with the big and energising citrus flavours of golden berries. Oh, and make sure you keep your eye on golden berries in 2017 - they're sure to be the next big superfood!
