We’re constantly asking ‘what’s next?’ The graze kitchen is always abuzz with new ideas to make sure our snacks keep on trail blazing, and that inspiration comes from our nation of grazers!
We asked our community of dedicated snackers (that’s you guys) to help us cook up the next big thing. We wanted to find out what flavour would take the country by storm. Would it be zesty, peppery, smoky or fiery?
We gathered ideas from grazers across the land… and smoky came out top as the new flavour everyone was most excited about. We couldn’t wait to start creating smouldering snacks to meet your cravings, so got straight back to the kitchen to start experimenting.
There’s no denying that smoky flavours are on trend. People already love the rich flavour of BBQ, so creating more intense smoky infusions is the next step.
We discovered that smoking isn’t all just cheese and bacon. You can smoke nuts, fruits and even flowers. We tried charing, grilling, burning and blistering all sorts of things to create that rich, smoky flavour until we found a cracking combination of wholesome ingredients.
Turns out almonds work a dream with smoky flavours, so we put them together with chilli lemon broad beans and soy roasted pumpkin seeds. Not bad for a barbecue in the palm of your hand!
We didn’t just leave it there - smokin' protein kick lives up to its name, giving you a source of protein and minerals, as well as being high in fibre and vitamin E.
Clearly our grazers are well ahead of the curve when it comes to the latest food trends. We couldn’t have created our smokin' protein kick without you lot.
