summer drink & snack pairings

No one knows flavour combinations better than the graze taste team.

Frozen Raspberry Margarita

  • 1 shot tequila
  • ½ shot triple sec
  • 1 freshly squeezed lime
  • 1 handful raspberries
  • 1 cup ice
  • Sprinkle of salt

Roll the rim of the glass in the salt. Tip the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. Pour the contents into your margarita glass. Enjoy with a side of spicy sriracha peas!

Rose port with orange

“What is rose port?" I hear you cry! Well friends it’s technically a ruby port, but fermented in a similar way to a rosé wine. Serve with a wedge of orange and one of our crunchy savoury snacks like my favourite Brooklyn bites.

Sipsmith gin & Fever-tree tonic

1 part to 3 parts Sipsmith gin (however strong you like it), 3 parts Fever-tree tonic, in a glass filled with ice cubes and plenty of freshly squeezed lime juice, garnished with mint leaves. Great with some black pepper popcorn.

Beavertown Neck Oil

Chilled, always chilled. This is a new discovery - a light, crisp extra pale malt home brewed in Tottenham. And I love punchy protein nuts with everything.

Crushed frozen berries & sparkling water

  • Summer berries (frozen)
  • Sparkling water
  • Mint leaves

Freeze your favourite summer berries before blending them and adding sparkling water and some mint leaves.

If like me you enjoy the little things in life then this drink is worth every second of the few minutes of effort involved preparing it. The vibrant flavours and natural nutrients from the fresh fruit and mint will make your taste buds happy whilst also giving you some added nutritional goodness.

Elderflower gin & tonic with cucumber

  • Cucumber
  • 1 shot gin
  • Elderflower cordial (to taste)
  • Tonic water
  • Ice cubes

Slice up your cucumber and add a few chunks to a chilled glass with some ice cubes. Pour in the gin and cordial and top up with tonic water. Tastes great with something fruity like our rainbow vitality or beach bum snacks.

Meantime Yakima Red

This craft beer is brewed with British and German malts with US hops, giving it fruit and citrus flavours with a restrained bitterness. Perfect with our applewood smoked beef jerky. Yum.
