For us, it's simple — use materials that are great at looking after your food and have the least impact on the environment.

 

the box

Our box is thin, strong & uses the least material possible. What's more, it's from a sustainable forest, 100% biodegradable & 100% recyclable. No chemicals, no bleaching, no tricks, just wood and a bit of water.

 

the punnet

Our punnets are specially designed to protect your food. And they are made with recycled material that can be recycled again.

 

the skewers

Our skewers are made from untreated bamboo — which is a highly renewable alternative because it's a grass, grows incredibly fast (a metre a week!) and never needs replanting. All in all they're great, but if you love to get messy and use your fingers, let us know and we'll leave them out.

 

reduction

We are always looking to reduce our packaging. So far we have managed to reduce our plastic punnets by a third and make the box from cardboard that is half the weight and twice the strength of the original boxes. We're always seeking new ways to use the least amount of packaging possible.
